Miranda Lambert announced as new headliner for 2023 Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam

Organizers for the 11th Annual Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam have named Miranda Lambert as a new headliner for the 2023 festival.  Lambert joins the previously announced Morgan Wallen as two-of-the-four headliners for the 2023 Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam, as announced on the festival’s Facebook page.

Gulf Coast Jam will be June 1-4, 2023 at Frank Brown Park.  Tickets for next year’s festival are currently available at GulfCoastJam.com.

Lady A to receive Nashville Symphony Harmony Award

The 2022 Symphony Ball have announced that the trio Lady A will receive the 2022 Nashville Symphony Harmony Award. The five-time Grammy Award winning group will receive the award during the 38th annual Symphony Ball on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, at Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

The Harmony Award ‘recognizes individuals who embody the harmonious spirit of Nashville’s musical community,’ and is presented annually by the Symphony, and selected by a committee. Fundraiser chairmen, Shaun Inman and Sheila Shields, said in a statement: “We are so honored to co-chair the 2022 Symphony Ball, and we look forward to presenting a beautiful evening of dinner, dancing, and music in the stunning Schermerhorn Symphony Center. The Ball is very special to us, helping the Symphony bring exceptional artistry to the stage and free music education programs to our Middle Tennessee children. Everyone, young and old, benefits from more music in their lives.”

Lady A has made an impact internationally and stateside over the past decade with their headlining shows, as well as through LadyAID, the group’s philanthropic fund which supports multiple initiatives around the world.

Lainey Wilson and HARDY team up for new collaboration “Wait In The Truck”

HARDY shared on social media his new single is a collaboration with singer Lainey Wilson. HARDY announced the two artists have teamed up for the song “Wait In The Truck,” and called the song “a special one.”  The song officially drops on Friday, August 26th.

HARDY will be receiving the Academy of Country Music Songwriter of the Year award at the ACM Honors ceremony on Wednesday, August 24, hosted at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.  Wilson recently released her latest single “Watermelon Moonshine” from her upcoming album ‘Bell Bottom Country,’ the follow-up to her debut album, Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’.  ‘Bell Bottom Country’ is slated for release on October 28.

Shania Twain, Martina McBride, Little Big Town, and Tanya Tucker set to guest star on the Fox country music drama series ‘Monarch’

Shania Twain, Martina McBride, Little Big Town and Tanya Tucker are all set to guest star in the upcoming first season of the Fox country music drama, ‘Monarch.’  The series stars Trace Adkins, Susan Sarandon, Anna Friel, Joshua Sasse and Beth Ditto.

The series will feature many original songs and covers performed by cast members and upcoming stars. Three tracks have been released ahead of the premiere: Caitlyn Smith performs the series theme song, The Card You Gamble,” Trace Adkins has released a cover of Hank Williams, Jr.’s “A Country Boy Can Survive,” and “American Girl” featuring the cast of Monarch. 

Fox previously announced the series will premiere with a two-night event, beginning Sunday, September 11th, immediately following the Fox NFL doubleheader, and simultaneously to all time zones. It then makes its time period premiere Tuesday, September 20th from 9-10 pm ET/PT.

Eric Church releases his previously exclusive album ‘&’

Rascal Flatts frontman Gary LeVox releases the solo track ‘Get Down Like That’

Rascal Flatts frontman Gary LeVox is sharing his new song “Get Down Like That” via Big Machine Records, written by Thomas Rhett, Ashley Gorley, Hardy and Jesse Frasure.  Says LeVox says of the track: “I’ve loved this song from the first time I heard it and I hope y’all love it too. If you ain’t from a town like that, don’t worry we’re gonna show you how to get down like that. Turn it up loud!”

After 20 years as frontman to Rascal Flatts, “Get Down Like That” marks a new new chapter for LeVox. The singer released his solo debut One On One in 2021, which included the song “The Distance” as well as collabs with Breland, MercyMe, Jonathan McReynolds and LeVox’s daughter, Brittany.

Luke Bryan shares the official music video for ‘Country On’

Luke Bryan has released his official music video for his current Top 15 single, “Country On.”  You can take a look at the video – here.

The video for “Country On”, directed by Shaun Silva, honors and pays tribute to the everyday hard-working Americans who keep the country running. It features the often-unsung heroes including farmers, truck drivers, first responders, soldiers, cowboys and cowgirls, hometown heroes, parents and more.

Bryan is currently on the road with his Raised Up Right Tour featuring support from Riley Green and Mitchell Tenpenny. Fans can also make plans to see his headline residency at the new Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas with dates scheduled through December 2022.

During a two-week break from his Raised Up Right Tour, Bryan will headline his 13th annual Farm Tour, kicking off next month from September 15-24th.  The Farm Tour sets up stages on the fields of local farmers across six states, and will feature special guests Riley Green, Jameson Rodgers, the Peach Pickers, and DJ Rock.
