Britney Spears Quarantined For 2 Weeks In Order To See Her Two Sons

Britney Spears quarantined for two weeks so that she could see her two sons Sean, 14, and Jayden, 13. The 38-year-old had been visiting family in Louisiana when her ex-husband Kevin Federline, 42, requested that she self-isolate before seeing her teenage sons.

A source told TMZ: “Britney returned to LA from a trip to see her family down in Louisiana at the end of April. When she got back, she wanted some quality time with her sons, but Kevin insisted she quarantine for at least 2 weeks before seeing them.” Spears followed through with Kevin’s request and has seen her sons twice since coming out of quarantine.

Federline has been homeschooling their sons since the middle of March after schools closed due to the spread of coronavirus. Meanwhile, Britney has been staying in her LA home with boyfriend Sam Asghari.

Billie Eilish Releases Short Film “Not My Responsibility” From Her World Tour

Billie Eilish has released a short film titled ‘Not My Responsibiity’ on social media. The film, which was made by Eilish herself, initially premiered on the first night of her ‘Where Do We Go?’ world tour in Miami earlier this year. The tour was then postponed following restrictions put in place due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In the film, the singer is seen alone in the dark wearing a black hoodie. As she recites her vulnerable, revealing words that slam body shaming and judgmental behavior, she slowly disrobes before sinking into water. She starts by questioning, “Do you know me?” and asks a series of questions about how people perceive her and may want her to be and act. “Would you like me to be smaller? Weaker? Softer? Taller? Would you like me to be quiet? Do my shoulders provoke you?”

“We make assumptions about people based on their size. We decide who they are. We decide what they’re worth,” she concludes in the clip. “If I wear more, if I wear less — who decides what that makes me? What that means? Is my value based only on your perception? Or is your opinion of me not my responsibility?”

Walt Disney World, SeaWorld Propose July Re-Opening Dates

Walt Disney World has announced a phased re-open approach for its parks.  WDW’s Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom Park are proposing July 11, 2020 as an opening date, and Epcot and Hollywood Studios are targeting July 15, 2020. Once it is approved by Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings and the committee, it needs final approval from Gov. Ron DeSantis.

The proposed opening will take place in phases and will require a reservation for park entry to limit park capacity. There will be physical distancing, guests and cast members will be required to wear face masks, plexiglass at registers and other places where distancing is difficult will be installed. Parades and fireworks will temporarily suspended to enable distancing. Character meet and greets as well as playgrounds are also temporarily suspended. Temperature checks will be conducted.

SeaWorld also presented an opening plan, proposing June 11 as the public reopening date. Face masks, staggered seating, social distancing in lines are all part of the proposed plan. At rides, there will be hand sanitizer both as guests board and deboard.

Storms Postpone Historic SpaceX Launch Moments Before Liftoff

NASA and SpaceX postponed the return to human spaceflight from the U.S. on Wednesday because of storm clouds at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.  Astronauts Bob Behnken and Douglas Hurley had been scheduled for launch to the International Space Station at 4:33 p.m. EDT in SpaceX’s Crew Dragon capsule atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. Lightening and heavy rains due to a system that moved north and became Tropical Storm Bertha near Georgia on Wednesday morning was of concern.

The historic launch would have marked the first time astronauts have flown inside the Crew Dragon space capsule, built by Elon’s Musk’s SpaceX. They were to have been propelled by the Falcon 9 rocket, which had carried supplies to the space station 250 miles above Earth.

Another attempt is scheduled for Saturday afternoon, when a 40 percent chance of unfavorable weather exists, according to the U.S. Space Force forecast.

UFC Is Approved By Nevada Athletic Commission To Return To Las Vegas

The Nevada Athletic Commission unanimously agreed during a teleconference Wednesday to allow two UFC events and two Top Rank boxing shows in Las Vegas over the next two weeks. The commission stopped competition in Nevada on March 14 amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The UFC immediately confirmed its plans to stage a show without fans in attendance Saturday night at the UFC Apex arena in Las Vegas, followed by the UFC 250 pay-per-view show at the same place June 6. Top Rank is expected to hold boxing shows at the MGM Grand on June 9 and June 11.

The commission on Wednesday approved stringent coronavirus safety protocols in order for UFC to return safely. The UFC and Top Rank have worked closely with the commission in recent weeks to create the protocols, according to Bob Bennett, the commission’s executive director.

The UFC show Saturday will be headlined by former welterweight champion Tyron Woodley facing Gilbert Burns. The main event of UFC 250 on June 6 features Amanda Nunes defending her featherweight belt against Canadian challenger Felicia Spencer.

Disney+ Short ‘Out’ Is Pixar’s First Release With Openly Gay Lead

Now available on Disney+ is the latest installment of Pixar’s Spark Shorts series.  Out is the first project from the animation studio to feature an openly gay main character.

The nine-minute short film follows the story of Greg, who struggles to come out to his parents ahead of his move to the city. When they show up suddenly in a surprise effort to help him pack, he magically switches bodies with his dog and tries to hide evidence of his relationship with his boyfriend, Manuel.

Disney has been making very small advancements in terms of representation, but has received criticism for appealing to more conservative markets. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker featured the franchise’s first ever same-sex kiss at the end of the film, and the company did reveal that The Eternals will feature the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first openly gay superhero.
